We’ve rounded up some of the best Black Friday deals you can find for $50 or less. No matter who you’re shopping for, the deals on this list are worth a look, especially if you’re sticking to a strict budget like so many other shoppers out there.
Note: We will update this post through the weekend with new deals. If an item is no longer at its deal price or sold out, we cross it out. Deal prices sometimes return and items come back in stock faster than we can update, so it never hurts to check for yourself.

Home and Outdoor Deals
Instant Pot
AmazonBlack Friday offers you the chance to save on cookware, kitchen gadgets, and things for around the house. Spruce up every room of your home and save some cash in the process.
Instant Pot Duo 6-Qt Electric Pressure Cooker for $49 ($51 off)
This Instant Pot is one of the most popular models on the market. It’s easy to use and has enough room to cook recipes for a large family. Instant Pots are pretty versatile too. You can steam, sauté, and even bake with them.
Small Kitchen Appliances for $8 (Mail-In Rebate Required)
This deal is one we see every single year for Black Friday. While it’s nothing too special, it still offers you the chance to stock up on small kitchen appliances at a fraction of their average cost. If you’re shopping for a college student or first-time homeowner this holiday season, the deals are worth a look. Of course, that’s provided you’re willing to work with a mail-in rebate. There’s a limit of two rebate redemptions per product, per household, and rebate submissions must be postmarked within 30 days of the purchase date.
Keurig K-Compact Coffee Maker for $40 ($27 off)
Unlike other compact Keurig models, this version doesn’t require you to refill the water each time you brew a cup of coffee. It won’t take up too much counter space either.
Instant Vortex 6-Quart 4-in-1 Air Fryer for $49 ($50 off)
This air fryer comes from the makers of the Instant Pot. It has a large capacity and plenty of presets that will make air-frying your favorite foods an easy process.
Instant Pot Ace Cooking Blender for $49 ($50 off)
Another product from the makers of the Instant Pot, this cooking blender is marketed as a dupe of the much pricier Vitamix. Use the blender to make soups, smoothies, sauces, and more. If you want to join the morning green juice smoothie cult, this is a good option from a popular brand.
TP-Link Kasa Smart Plug for $14 ($3 off)
This price point is just a couple bucks more than the best we’ve seen. Smart plugs can turn your non-smart tech into something controllable via your voice and your favorite smart-home assistant. I use mine to turn my box fan off in the morning when I’m tempted to go back to sleep.
LifeStraw Personal Water Filter for $12 ($5 off)
LifeStraws are pretty cool. They filter out all sorts of gunk, like harmful microbes and bacteria. You can even use them to drink out of a puddle! It’s a good idea to have one in your hiking bag or emergency preparedness kit.
BioLite HeadLamp 330 for $40 ($10 off)
BioLite, Backcountry, Moosejaw
This lightweight headlamp stays put while you move. It’s one of our favorite outdoor Black Friday deals.
Tech Deals
Google Home Mini
GoogleBlack Friday tech deals for 2019 are heavily centered on smart home products, but we’ve managed to find many other discounts worth your time as well. Deals under $50 include headphones, cameras, and home theater gear.
This is the upgraded Fire TV Stick—it supports 4K content, so it’s a good option if your giftee has the ability to stream ultra high-def movies. The included Alexa Voice Remote adds the ability to control media playback using Alexa, which is a nice (if not wholly necessary) feature.
Google Home Mini for $19 ($30 off)
Google’s answering call to the Echo Dot is this compact smart speaker. They share many of the same features, with the difference being that Google’s packs Google Assistant rather than Alexa. As a team, we prefer Google Assistant to Alexa here at WIRED, especially for smart home stuff.
Echo Dot for $22 ($28 off)
This smart home building block is handy and compact. You can place it nearly anywhere. It sounds pretty good for its size, and this sale is the first time we’ve seen significant savings on the newly-released plum-colored version.
Jaybird Tarah for $50 ($30 off)
The Tarah are some of our favorite wireless earbuds for working out. They have a neckband-style, foamy eartips, and nice wings to keep them in your ears during a run.
Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Bundle for $50 ($60 off)
Different stores are offering this instant camera and film bundle in different configurations, but the price remains the same throughout. For example, Target offers a free $15 gift card, while Kohl’s offers $15 back in Kohl’s Cash. Choose whichever one offers the benefits you’d like.
Echo Show 5 for $50 ($40 off)
This device takes an Alexa speaker and adds a screen. Amazon makes two sizes; this one has the smaller 5-inch display, making it a good option for a nightstand as opposed to a kitchen counter.
Ultimate Ears Wonderboom for $40 ($40 off)
This adorable Bluetooth speaker makes a great gift for teens, since it’s rugged and portable. We recently included it on our list of gear that’s essential for freshman year. There is technically a new model, but it doesn’t change enough to
Fire HD 8 for $50 ($30 off)
This is our favorite Fire tablet overall. It’s portable and shares many features with its 10-inch big brother. Use it to run Android apps and games, browse the web, or just stream movies and shows from the likes of Netflix, Amazon, or HBO. Just know that like all Fire tablets, it’s good for streaming and basic tasks, but it does favor Amazon services.
Roku Ultra for $48 ($52 off)
This deal on Roku’s excellent streaming TV accessory is another one that’s up for grabs from multiple stores. Our favorite offering is from Walmart, since the base price is the same as what you’ll find at other retailers, but the deal includes free JBL earbuds as well as a $5 credit for Vudu’s movie service. The deal also includes three-month trials of Pandora and Hulu, which are less enticing, but something you still may be interested in.
Roku Streaming Stick+ for $30 ($20 off)
Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Amazon
This low-priced Roku is the best Roku for most people, and this weekend, the price gets even lower. Various retailers are offering bonuses like discounted streaming services with the purchase of a Roku, too.
Fire TV Stick with 4K with Alexa Voice Remote for $25 ($25 off)
JLab Audio JBuds Air True Wireless for $30 ($20 off)
These are our favorite wirefree earbuds under $50 year-round, but for Black Friday, their price will fall to just $30. They’re comfortable and sound better than similarly-priced pairs.
Tile Mate Bluetooth Tracker for $13 ($7 off)
These trackers are incredibly handy. Use them to find lost phones, keys, wallets, and even a pet. If an item goes missing, open the companion app and see the location of the tracker show up like a homing beacon. You can get a four-pack on sale for $15 off, which might be a better deal depending on how many things you’re looking to track.
Lenovo Smart Clock for $40 ($40 off)
We gave this gadget a 7/10 in our review. It’s one of our favorite Google Assistant displays—unlike some similar smart displays, this one doesn’t have a camera.
Epicka Universal Travel Adapter for $16 ($13 off)
I, Louryn, own this travel adapter and love it. It’s compact and easy to use, plus you get an extra fuse with your purchase in case you blow the first one. It makes a great gift for travelers.
Twelve South AirFly for $27 ($18 off)
This is another product that made our frequent traveler gift guide. It allows you to use Bluetooth headphones with non-Bluetooth gadgets, like an airplane seat or gym treadmill.
Anker PowerWave Wireless Charging Pad for $11 ($4 off)
This wireless charger is usually pretty affordable, but this Black Friday price makes it that much easier to pick one up for yourself or a loved one. Just note that it doesn’t come with an adapter to plug it into the wall, so you’ll either need to use an extra that you have at home or purchase one separately.
Gaming, Movie, and Toy Deals
Shopping for children and grown-up kids alike will be easier with these deals.
Xbox One or PS4 controllers for $40 ($20 off)
This is a deal we see frequently throughout the year, but it’s still getting you about the best price you can hope to find, no matter which console you’re gaming on. It never hurts to have a spare controller around, and if you’re stumped on what to give the gamer in your life, they’d probably be happy to receive one of these.
Lego Classic Creative Fun Set for $20 ($20 off)
Enthusiasm for small plastic bricks can mean spending tons of cash on building sets. This one comes with 900 pieces in an array of rainbow hues. Building enthusiasts will be able to create all sorts of fun projects.
Best Buy Game Deals
The big-box retailer will have about a gajillion games on sale for $50 or less during Black Friday. Top hits like The Last of Us: Remastered will be just $10, and more titles, such as Diablo III, will be on sale for only $25. If you’re looking for video game deals this Black Friday, don’t miss out on Best Buy’s offers.
Play-Doh Baby Shark Set for $9 ($6 off)
We hope you can shop this deal without the song getting stuck in your head. If your kiddos are obsessed-doo-doo-doodoo-doodoo, this would make a cute stocking stuffer.
Harry Potter Special Edition Box Set for $60 ($40 off)
This set doesn’t go on sale too often. It includes paperback copies of books one through seven with special 20th-anniversary art. Pick up an extra set for yourself or introduce a younger family member to the magic of Hogwarts.
Barbie Dreamcamper for $50 ($50 off)
This popular toy for the holidays often sells for double this Black Friday price. You’ll probably never find another camper with a built-in pool for this cheap, and if your kids like to play dolls, this is a good way to get new life out of playthings from Christmases past.
Sega Genesis Mini Console for $50 ($30 off)
This pint-sized blast from the past comes preloaded with 40 games and two controllers. No difficult setup is required, either. Just plug it into your TV and start blasting. Maybe you could open it on Christmas Eve and spend the whole night gaming like you did when you were a kid.
Just Dance 2020 on Nintendo Switch for $25 ($15 off)
Just Dance 2020 is being lauded as a return to the game series’ original roots. If you first played it using a Microsoft Kinect, an Xbox 360, and a 32-inch plasma TV, perhaps it’s time to revisit.
Harry Potter Complete 8-Film Blu-ray Collection for $27 ($23 off)
This movie set hasn’t dropped so low in price since, well, last Black Friday. Rather than waiting for commercial breaks to finish, or streaming from dubious sources on the internet, own the movies for yourself.
